Why does Israel care? All they care about is keep sending us the money. They don't believe in Christian Armageddon so why do they care what CHristians think. Just show us the money. Fundies have no clue about how a lot of Jews view the CHristian Religion.

He is just one mayor in Israel. Even here we have a governor who won't call the Christmas tree what it is. He says it is called a Holiday tree. I am not surprised as much with the Jewish mayor as I am the governor here. At least in our country the majority are Christian. Israel would be more likely not to emphasize Christmas.

Like the little boy said---"if it is not a Christmas tree why is it only out up at Christmas?"

Wow...now it makes sense...this explains why Ron Paul is set up to look like a quack, he said something unpopular...I had no idea what it was, cause I think Ron Paul is quite interesting and I do believe he has my vote...this is the first time I ever heard this...and it makes sense now...wow...

This is a tough one for the FoxNews crowd. Who to defend? Israel or Christmas?
why does this have to be a big deal at all?
is what you are trying to do is grasp at straws here to try and get folks upset?
I am not upset, I do not feel the need to get involved with this at all
this is not the US
I can support a country and not agree with everything it does
I support my country, the USA
do I agree with everything its leaders do??
Hell no
Do I think the mayor is acting like a jerk? Yes, is it going to keep me up at night or cause me conflict, nope~

Ummm Israel is a Jewish state, Jews do not believe Christ is God, therefore they do not celebrate Christmas. This is hardly news worthy. Well except, perhaps, to the loony left.

Shorebaby, you meant to say "the loony right." You know, the nutcases who think there is a "war" on Christmas.

There are Christains in Israel. I expect them to be able to celebrate Christmas there the same way Jews can celebrate Hannakuh here.

LOL, now let me help you out. The US is a non sectarian country founded by Christians. Israel is a Jewish state founded by Jews. Of course there is discrimination against Christians in certain parts of this country.
