Turns out obama was absolutely WRONG....again.

Turns out WE were right...again.

barack hussein obama - the president who lost a moderate ME by giving it to the most radical segments of islam.
Typical Neo-Con bs based on the idea that people other then themselves can't be trusted with self government.

The middle east is a mix of hardline and moderate. Tunisia will likely stay moderate, while Yemen will likely be a disaster.

Mubarak and Qadafi were gone regardless since they and their movements were cold war relics. It was only a matter of time.

Yeah, isn't that a kick?

Cheer lead intervention in Libya, Egypt and then complain, whine and make lame excuses when the results, which were predicted by many, are a disaster.

Guess you didn't READ any of the links. IF he had been given MORE time for a transitional power transfer, the moderates/youth might have been able to gain more support. Now they are SCREWED as hardline islamists and MB terrorists take over power.

Well, the media played down all the violence, rapes, beatings, radicalism as the RIOTS (the MSM lauded the "democracy" protests) played out worldwide.

How you can read his own words about what he THOUGHT would happen and then look at the reality and still defend his greatest foreign policy blunder is beyond me.
The people of Egypt pushed Mubarak out when the price of food rose to unaffordable levels -- while Mubarak funneled trillions into his Swiss accounts.

The Shah says 'Hi!" and reminds you that the US backing corrupt tyrants tends to backfire pretty badly. Unless, of course, you like the current state of affairs in Iran, in which case, carry on.

I don't, but obama sure does, as he tries every form of appeasement possible to curry favor with them.

If you promote the idea that others should learn to live under dictatorships, much less promoted by foreign interests, why would you be opposed to the idea for self? Learn to walk the talk.

I did and that person is an idoit who likely has not been following Egyptian polictics for more then a year.

First of the Muslim Brotherhood has had more then 30 years to organize and they have the Mosques. In previous Egyptian elections implicitly brotherhood candidates running as "independents" won every seat that Mubarak let be competitive.

Once more the MB are not the hard line islamist party. The Al-Nur party is as they are straight up Salafists like you see in SA, and guess what despite being a distant second to the brotherhood they still beat the secularists.

Not to worry though the MB is preaching itself as a moderate party for one obvious reason. They know they cannot go against the US or Israel. This is because the army are the ones that really disloged Mubarak and not any protests and the army still holds all the cards. Furthermore the army is made up of US trained officers, who get US military aid, and don't want to weaken themselves in a costly war with Israel. So really you don't have all that much to worry about.

Well surely you must support going into Iran, which is killing protesters in the streets? Same with Syria? After all, didn't you support going into Libya and interfering in Egypt?

Turns out Bebe was RIGHT.
Letting insane narcissists like Bebe dictate our foreign policy really would be a blunder.

Oh wait, IT ALREADY HAS BEEN.

How do you think all these Arabs got mad at us in the first place, or do you actually think "they hate us for our freedom?"

ROTFLMAO
