Maybe this is a bill that should have gotten passed?
Quote:
However, when told that passing it would cut payroll taxes, fund new road construction, extend unemployment benefits, and that it would be paid for by increasing taxes on the wealthy -- 63 percent say they favor the bill and 32 percent oppose it.
It was so great his Democrat full proof majority in the Senate voted it down.
Full proof majority? They shot it down? I think someone needs to turn off fox and learn how congress works,...

This is another clear issue where the right wingers are standing up against job creation, balancing the budget and most importantly, against the wishes of the american people. The only thing that matters to them is to keep bankrolling the rich and mega corporations on taxpayer dime and to hell with everyone else.
^ This... Another Obama Spending spree that goes nowhere.
The right are 3 for 3 with completely wrong information, how surprising
The Obama jobs bill is 100% paid for, unlike the gop/tea party holding the country hostage, forcing through 700 billion in new unpaid for spending to keep bankrolling the rich with the Bush tax cuts, which did absolutely nothing to create jobs which they assured it would,...

You need to lay off the propaganda for a bit. First off the democrats have 53 senators and you need 60 to pass a bill, hardly a full proof majority. Secondly a majority of the senate voted for it, but just not a majority of 60%

Yeah, those Bush Tax cuts were so awful that Obama decided to continue them huh? And NOTHING Obama does is straight forward.... if you still think this dude is honest you're blind/deaf. Everything this man touches FAILS with a quickness. We'll all be lucky enough if this country can hold on until he's booted in 2012
Actually the post showed that most folks didn't support it, but after they received some information about each individual part of the jobs bill they supported it.
In other words the executive branch still has a communication problem
