I'm surprised they don't have a negative approval rating at this point.
Our economy has been tanking for some time now, but yet Bambi and Meechelle jet around on trips like there is nothing else to do. More than congress, Bambi needs to forget about the campaign trips, keep his little butt in DC and actually LEAD / WORK. Two things he obviously knows nothing about.

I agree that they can't further screw things up when not in session, but they have to have some sort of agreement on a debt solution come November or massive defense and medicare cuts will be enacted. The clock is ticking and I personally think that our country's fiscal solvency takes precedence over campaigning. JMO

Hmm how about why don't they forego their paid vactions or better yet how about threatening to not pay their paychecks and SS checks.

What good would a negative anything on them do? They never never never get their salaries attacked. I had not heard about their taking vacations and if it's true thank you for sharing this information.

It is also important to note that since Congressmen only have two-year terms, they also have to attend to campaign matters.
You forgot meeting with their big donors and lobbyists and getting the scoop on how they should proceed.

I think its more like they need to run back to their corporate and special interest big money donors to get their marching orders for the next session.
