The Tea Party essentially runs the GOP today. The tea party caucus in the house caused John Boehner to capitulate on his own debt deal and give in to their radical demands. They have essentially hijacked the GOP and they are trying to hijack the rest of America. Reasonable Americans must stand up and prevent this by re-electing Obama next year. If for no other reason that is why I am voting for Obama again. I can't bare to see my country fall into the hands of the Teabaggers.

Ignoring the fact that we arent a Democracy, we are a Representative Republic.. Wouldnt the tea partiers getting people elected to office would ALSO be Democratcy..

I see, they are only terrorists when they dont support unsound fiscal policies.

See, that's just a complete and utter lie. Why would anyone want to have a conversation with you when you post such blatant lies?

There is a difference between a lie and a fact that goes against your opinion. Are you aware of that?

It seems to me that the American taxpayer is the one who is being held hostage and forced to pay ransom, all under the guise of "fairness" while continuing to fund a bloated federal govt.
When those deficits were created by every policy you've been championing for 35+yrs, you cannot credibly stand here complaining about how a crisis YOU cheered along from day one is being managed. Tea are elderly juvenile deliquents pointing a bony finger of denial from themselves. They're the ones who demanded a nanny state every which way all along, then turn around complaining their nanny state costs too much. Textbook cognitive dissonance.

That means you need to cut $1.1 trillion a year to get your fiscal ass in order.

The Center on Budget and Policies Priorities revealed that the Bush tax cuts accounted for half of the deficits during his tenure, and if made permanent, would add more to the national debt than Iraq, Afghanistan, the stimulus and TARP - combined. For its part, the CBO put a nearly $4 trillion price tag on the loss to the U.S. Treasury resulting from making the Bush tax cuts permanent.

I'm well aware that there's a difference but that has nothing to do with you posting bold face lies. Even Obama supporters complained about how un-transparent the health care debate was... and it never really was a debate.

Facts are not very popular with the teabag community. Trying to have a rational debate with a teabagger based on facts is like throwing pearls to swine.

At what point will you realize how hypocritical you're being in this thread? You claim that the Tea Party called the President names and that makes us Terrorists then you call Tea Party members derogatory terms over and over again while trying to make your own point...

Stop being a hypocrite, if you actually want to talk about this stop attacking people by trying to call them stupid names and make your points.

You had the chance to air your sentiments at the town halls which you did. You failed to hijack the debate and the bill was passed. Count your losses and move on.

The exact same thing can be said for the debt ceiling debate so count your losses and move on.
