You're right, Chicago never has and never will have a gun problem. Its' a quite peaceful city and people never get shot there.

I stand corrected. I'm so used to hearing misinformation spread about Chicago that I didn't even think about the likes of East St. Louis. My bad.

DC was also the safest city in the USA in the 90s, and it had a hardcore gun ban.

Now if only the lower-48 could abolish Concealed Carry Permits altogether, like Alaska. There should be no restrictions on how a firearm is carried by its owner, open or concealed.

Chicago is safer than a lot of cities with lax gun laws in the Bible Belt. Memphis, Little Rock, New Orleans, Birmingham, Atlanta, Charlotte, Richmond...

Those are stats I would love to see.

"Crime rates in Washington DC have significantly dropped in comparison to the 80's and 90's"

"Whilst crime in DC is dropping significantly over the past few years Washington DC still has a violent crime average of 466.9 which is 3 times more than the nation's average."

Washington DC - Crime Rates - Locksmith Washington DC - Locksmith in Washington DC, Washington

All of those cities have other factors in common that add to their safety factor or lack thereof.
