He does have certain responsibilites to Congress that haven't really been addressed, but protecting the people does fall into his domain.

Lol, I don't recall the US employing suicide bombers or intentionally killing civilians. The next time the terrorists want to put on uniforms and meet us on the battlefield, then they are our equals. As long as they are hiding behind woman and children they are cowards. Moral relevance isn't being bought ere, you need to peddle it somewhere else.

I'm not really seeing how Obama is irrelevant, he is the president of the country you live in...I'd say that's pretty relevant.
