If the mandate is dropped, how does the program pay for itself? Remember, it was supposed to be deficit neutral. Revenue from fines was to be used to pay for the program. Also, the mandate was reason insurance companies agreed to drop preexisting condition clause.

Would love to see new CBO numbers if mandate is dropped.

Heard on the news tonight that it's in court right now. Twenty-three states have joined together in a class-action of some kind to repeal the mandate. The Supreme C. said it wouldn't hear the case until all previous venues (don't know the proper word) have been exhausted. So it appears to have some serious resistance. I wouldn't have given repeal a prayer before hearing that that many states were in on the action.
