It's not "the worst record of tax increases" "it's the worst record of tax revenue." If you remember, the proponents of those tax-cuts stated they would bring in more revenue. Whatever your passions about taxes, one can't cut taxes and complain that we have deficits.

Unfortunately, the numbers are 3 years out of date so it would look much much worse today.

But the lesson is spot on and his prediction from more than 100 years ago has come to fruition.

Yes, we can. We should complain that we have deficits regardless of the minor impact of tax cuts.

When we have government spending at least double what it should be, we can cut taxes even more if we got spending under control.
