They whine about anything/everything and can't mind their own business; yet lie and say they want smaller government but insist everyone else follow their agenda empowered by the government.
Look at the latest census data and see the fastest growing segment of the population. If we keep our borders open it will increase poverty and gut the middle class.
The left will say "you're a racist!"
They want it all.
Open borders, free medical for everyone, free education for all (illegals as well), free housing, etc.
If only those greedy rich people would pay more! It's not "fair"!
What about fixing schools? What about reducing tuition? What about lowering health care costs? Those things coupled with telling people that they can succeed is better than telling them that they can succeed, but not providing the same opportunities. Later, you then spout on saying that if 1 or 2 people can do it everyone can and if you did not you suck. Clearly, the better option is to provide equal opportunity for all.
The Republican party is looking to drain our nation and redistribute wealth...towards the wealthy. Conservatives are trying to conserve the past...a type of corporate feudalism.
Just look at the recent proposals at raising taxes on the poor, cutting social services the poor use, and CUTTING taxes for the rich. Really?
The left has controlled education in America for generations, what's your beef?
The left control "big college" and tuition rates. Ask them why they need $50,000 per student per year.

What would the left say to working class gringos (or blacks!) who are getting hosed by all the illegal immigration? (depressed wages, high unemployment, inflated rents - the vast majority of low-wage workers do not get free or even subsidized housing, immense deficits)
As far as I can see, the only thing they have to offer is more socialism.

Look at the help wanted ads in your hometown paper tomorrow.
90% of people have jobs.
Since you asked, I just looked at the help wanted ads in my hometown paper...27 jobs, which is actually about four times more jobs then were in the paper a couple months ago. So the trend is good, but 27 jobs advertised in a 2M metro area doesn't sound so hot.
The hot jobs locally right now appear to be long-haul truck driving and morning paper routes that require a car. (I don't have a car or a license so I guess I'm out of luck there.)
Also there were several skilled trades jobs (electrician, machinist, mechanic) and some misc jobs (service manager for a car dealer, sales, IT, bookkeeper), but NO unskilled jobs other than the paper routes.
90% of people have jobs? That is a big myth. There are many unemployed people who aren't counted in the official government statistics.
Those folks need to take advantage of the many opportunities that are presented to them.
Sure, I see opportunity all over the place, but I lack the capital and the right connections and right skills to take advantage of them.
There is an emerging body of literature on networks. It appears what the poor really need are better networks.
