Michael Moore is a lunatic. And a extreme left wing propagandist. It's funny how he keeps harping about the working class and the poor. It's obvious he's never missed a meal in his entire life.

He's stating the truth. What don't you get about the basis for a progressive income tax? It's what we have today only it's swung too far in favor of the rich.

It's been like that for over a Century and is the basis for every tax system in the Western World.

Rich should pay more of their income in tax. Period. End of Story. Deal with it.

He's just a garden variety leftist (NOT to be confused with liberal, I don't care what anyone says, they are not the same thing).

I take him as seriously as I take any leftist, which isn't very serious at all.

But I find them far less scary than the extreme Right nowadays...

Extremists of any idealogy are horrifying.

I'd rather sit through The Exorcist than watch anything with Michael Moore or Sara Palin.

Sure, there are tons of problems with our current tax system.

However, what Moore is advocating is essentially socialism.

One of my favorite quotes:

"Convictions are more dangerous enemies of the truth than lies."
-Nietzsche

This board is a prime example of this phenomenon.

He spelled out exactly what he meant in the video. Raise taxes on the rich.

Wow! That's really radical!

Considering taxes on the rich have been historically much higher in our Nation's history. http://yglesias.thinkprogress.org/20...tes_over_time/

* that last bar on the graph was what Obama was proposing but failed to enact...you poor poor babies.
