And with that, I'm left wondering how people like this even make it out of high school ..

If our tax dollars and the Department of Education keep producing morons like this, I'll be quite apt to wanting my money back.

Bottom line: if you have a problem with the commercial (1) don't buy that product and (2) write to let the executives of the company know that you do not care for that type of a statement being made and that you will not be purchasing their products as a result
This.

There wasn't a damn thing funny about any bit of that commercial.

Not the black woman constantly kicking and smacking around her husband/boyfriend/whatever he is, which is a stereotype that black women have been trying to overcome for decades (maybe longer).

Not the use of a white woman to turn the head of the black man away from the black woman, which is yet another stereotype.

Not the fact that they injured the woman and then ran off.

Nothing funny about any of it.

Those who found it funny either don't care or don't get it. Either way, it's a poor reflection on them.

Sheila Jackson an idiot. I guess she thinks part of her job is to tell us what commercials are good and which ones are bad.

An idiot and she doesn't even know it.

Don't you people realize that her constituents elected her to police TV commercials and ignore all the real problems they face?
