Thoughts are out to Giffords, her family and anyone else impacted by this. Apparently Giffords was holding some type of forum, as three of her staffers were also shot.

I am just horrified; we sometimes shop at that Safeway (it's 3 miles from my house), and drive by it almost daily. My thoughts and prayers go out to her and her family.
University Medical Center is the only Level One Trauma Center in Tucson (and all of southern Arizona); she has the best chance there.
