WTF is wrong with people? Who in their right mind needs a handgun to protect their pitbull from a cat? Not only that, but she actually left the scene to go get the gun and brought it back to shoot the cat, who was only trying to get away from the dog.

Quote:
The pit bull, named Zeva, went after the cat and the two animals ended up in another yard under a house trailer.

"She wasn't even in her yard when she shot the cat. That cat was just trying to get away from the dog."

Well I hope they throw the book at the shooter.

And if you let your cat roam, don't be suprised when it doesn't come home.

The people in question need to learn how to contain their animals on their own property... the dog wouldn't have been in "danger" if he hadn't been able to escape his yard in pursuit of the cat in the first place. A water hose would have sent the cat right out of the yard...this woman obviously just hates cats and that's why she did what she did. If someone shot someone's cat in MY yard, you can bet I'd do everything I could to put that person away...firing a gun on someone else's property is beyond irresponsible, especially if the reason is to protect their loose dog from a CAT. Unbelievable!

What I picked up on in that article was the word "trailer", and then thought "trash". I'm so bad. She lost her temper and now needs a cover story and this is the best she could come up with.

Oh, eff the damn cat. My neighbor had a cat that attacked my dog's eyes and left dead, punctured chipmunks and birds all over the yard. I loved watching a coyote carrying that thing into the woods...I hope it ate slowly.

This is a story about idiots.
Idiot cat owner who failed to control their animal.
Idiot dog owner who failed to control their animal.
Idiot gun owner who thinks its ok to go into someone elses yard and fire their weapon.
I don't morn for the cat's owner. If you care about your pet control it.
Evidence abounds that in some cases social darwinists have a valid point.
