This is a good trend . For too long Americans have been almost stubbornly against the traditions of the extended family (that other cultures have always nurtured & valued)
When its being done due to a lack of choice, its not positive.. Do you really think its "quality" time? Parents are out working 2-3 jobs while the college educated kids sit at home and play Playstation all day because there is nothing else to do and they have no money to go out.. Yeah, good trend.. Whats next?
yeah, they CHOOSE to either move home, or live in the streets because they cant find a job to suppor themself. The joke is you thinking that is positive.
This is a tradition in other cultures for a reason, they had no other choice. The societies in other cultures nurtured and valued the situation, instead of turning it into a negative. Everything in life can be viewed two ways when you have no choice. It is your choice how you handle it:
1) the cup half empty
2) the cup half full

Haha, all these college dopes who got degrees in areas that are absolutely FLOODED with people that have the same skillset or better. They will have to be re-educated or trained in something else, because someone forgot to tell them that those jobs are gone for good!
So many of my friends are moving back in with family now that they are graduating college. I would die if I had to move back home with my parents. Ugh. I have to find a new place to live myself very soon, and the parent's house will be the LAST option (after living on the street and finding an old sugar daddy).

Actually, software engineering and networking was supposed to die off from outsourcing, but salaries have risen faster than inflation and job opportunities are pretty good relatively speaking. High inflation will help offset the offshoring of talent.
I kind of agree, but only if you have the land, and can live
like the Ewing's on Dallas
The Ewings are unique...they are rich so they live together and kill each other by choice
