I don't get the left going after Boehner. Yeah, I know, he's potentially the future speaker of the house, but he's hardly the face of the GOP. He's not the intellectual hub of the party or the espouser of interesting ideas. People don't think of Boehner when they consider voting Republican. He's no Newt Gingrich or even Nancy Pelosi. It just seems like an awful lot of huffing and puffing and it's not going to sway a single vote.

Well, if it's found he's an adulterer he'll be a little closer to being a Newt Gingrich
That's interesting. Rupert Murdoch's NY Post. And who exactly are the "liberal outlets" in this story? Some kid blogging at Daily Kos, who might be onto something and might not. The woman didn't deny it.
They fill in the rest of the space with "Capitol Hill is buzzing" that maybe the Times might print something someday.
But the point was for a Murdoch arm to get that misleading headline out there in front of the loyal guard dogs... keep them growling.... get them on Boehner's side early.
"D'oh! Scumbag Liberal Media!"
Mission accomplished!
