Huh? Trying to divert this to me, I see.

Oh, semantics. OK.

Trying to be bolder, I guess. You must feel good now.

Good day, sir.

Well it is clearly about you. Since everything I wrote was true (and you made no effort to challenge it) that can't be the topic of dispute. So we are left with the curious consideration of what your problem is.

You don't like recess appointments. Tough. A functioning government is more important than your personal political hypocrisy.

That's okay. Some day the the Republicans will have the White House again, and then you can love recess appointments again. And then conservatives can stop behaving like mewling, puking infants.

Yes... I feel great!!! I usually do. Liberals are generally much better at embracing joy than conservatives. We are naturally less fearful than you guys, and that pays off in a more positive outlook on life. We even have better sex.

[BY the time Obama is done with Office, Bush would have been seen as a GOOD OLD BOY] AND Obama, just a boy who was not ready!

Why wouldn't you want to tell more? You supposedly embrace joy better than other political parties with "positive" outlooks and all that. Go on, tell. No holds barred!

There are at least 30 more on the Bush list, Bolton being one of the hottest.

Were you whining then?
Yes, maam. By God your man did it so it is ok for our man to say that your people wouldn't allow the man when the Senate hadn't even talked about him in committee. Whine and cry because those Republican slobs won't let us do anything.

How many Senate votes does it take to approve an appointment like that one? How many Republicans would it take to approve him? One more question about him. Has he ever said that rationing of health care would be acceptable?

It doesn't mean the senate wouldn't have confirmed him, even possibly by a huge margin if it actually came for a vote.

He was recess appointed BECAUSE he was being blocked from even getting a vote on confirmation. We are well into Obama's 2nd year, and because of cynical politics by senate Republicans, he still does not have a fully staffed government. It is beyond the pale that they want this President to fail so badly that they would choose to try and cripple the government. But that's exactly what they are doing. Over 200 top federal posts remain vacant because of confirmation obstruction (i.e. "blocking"). It is my hope that Obama exploits every Senate recess during this summer to ensure a fully staffed federal government by autumn
Jeez, Dude, don't you know that the committee that had to start the approval process of Berwick hadn't even scheduled a date to discuss him? Surely you know that if all the Dems voted on committee it would be just like the whole Senate. Dems control the committees by the same percentage they control the Senate so surely they could get the vote with no trouble at all. Blaming the Republicans for having to shorten his tenure with a recess appointment is so half-assed and stupid I can't believe it. I know that Obama blames Bush for everything bad that happens but this time the end is nearing and he blamed the Republicans for something they had nothing to do with.

Get real, Dude.
