I guess you must not know what "blocked" means.

It doesn't mean the senate wouldn't have confirmed him, even possibly by a huge margin if it actually came for a vote.

He was recess appointed BECAUSE he was being blocked from even getting a vote on confirmation. We are well into Obama's 2nd year, and because of cynical politics by senate Republicans, he still does not have a fully staffed government. It is beyond the pale that they want this President to fail so badly that they would choose to try and cripple the government. But that's exactly what they are doing. Over 200 top federal posts remain vacant because of confirmation obstruction (i.e. "blocking"). It is my hope that Obama exploits every Senate recess during this summer to ensure a fully staffed federal government by autumn

Oh... you misread that completely. You can complain all you want. You weren't being snarked at for complaining.

You were being snarked at for the shameless hypocrisy of your complaining. We actually like it when the right wingers show their true stripes in such a gloriously obvious way.

So please... by all means... keep complaining.

What more do these pathetic clowns want? They complain, but they have 59 democrats in the senate, and a super majority in the congress, and a president from their party..... when the hell will any political party get all of this laid at their feet again??? And these guys act like ... <snif> ... it just ain't enough, only 59 in the senate, the presidency, and they have an insurmountable majority in the congress Oh... the humanity of it all

Just a nasty cretin having a bad day....

There are at least 30 more on the Bush list, Bolton being one of the hottest.

Were you whining then?
0bama needs a simple majority to get any appointment approved, he has 59 democrats in the senate. By your whiny response, apparently you democrats need 100% of the congress and the presidency or it's just not fair, and <sniff> you cannot get your Marxists and socialists approved thru the hearings, democrats are all a bunch of whiners.

BTW, bush went thru the confirmation hearings, and they were loud and contentious, 0bama did not even bother to even try.

That is only true once they get to a vote.

They are being blocked from getting to a vote.

You actually have no idea what this thread is even about, do you?

Do you know how many recess appointments Obama has made since he was president? Some say 15, some say 39. Why isn't this covered in depth? Bush made over 300 during his terms.

Here's a little info about who Obama muscled through:

Your post is nothing but party line blaming therefore without merit.

Thanks for playing.

And yet you felt compelled to respond anyway.

The truth always manages to strike a nerve.

Not in the slightest.

Don't make assumptions.

Nice edit, BTW.

*Thought Bush was suppose to be the worst president ever* Not sure why people want Obama to be compared to doing the samethings Bush did

Obama is Bush on steroids. He has every fault that Bush had but on a much larger scale. Then he adds some new faults that Bush didn't have.

Totally incompetent.
