I'm actually sad to hear that. One of the things that made him compelling on PR was being the iconoclast and not the sell-out.

Nobody's yet commented on how awesome the name "Alaska Thunder****" is? (S)he should win the competition just for that!

i don't think being besties with ru paul makes you a sellout! seriously the regular judges are ru paul's actual friends (one of whom was not particularly famous before this). ru paul reached out to santino to start hanging out after seeing him on pr and thinking he was cool. you have no idea what a fun and weird and genuine show this is. santino's definitely taken project runway and run with it though - he did a makeover show with austin scarlett and has done an all star season as well.

it's also a show that's really blatantly, unapologetically, gay, and not in a will and grace kinda way. i'm sure that is something that appeals to santino. and when he started doing it, it was pretty much zero budget and was expected to have a very limited audience. i mean, i think for santino rice to start judging a drag queen competition on the gay channel is sort of the opposite of selling out. it sounds right up his alley.

i'm not sure what makes you think this show is so terrible, besides the fact that it's a reality show. it doesn't sound like you really know anything about it, so how can you judge it? i mean, it is a reality show but it's not like other shows. it's simultaneously a creative competition show and a parody of one.

Proving once again that Pittsburgh is the City of Champions, Ms. Thunderfvck has fought her way into the Final 3. RuPaul's Drag Race is holding a fan vote to help determine who will be crowned the winner on May 6. You can vote by tweeting #TeamAlaska to @RuPaulsDragRace. She's up against the very talented and very popular Seattle queen Jinkx Monsoon, so it's going to be a very close race.

I doubt even Roxxxy herself believes she has a chance in hell of winning at this point. She's the most hated queen in RPDR history (HERstory?).

ok why is J I G censored on here?? does c-d find dancing offensive? is that some obscure racial slur?

and yeah, if the voting actually has ANY effect, roxxxy is sunk. even if it doesn't, really. ru doesn't like her girls that mean.

Alaska lost to Jinkx Monsoon. At least the show gave her career a good boost.
