We've gotten shares from Kretschman and Blackberry Meadows. Also purchase clarion river at the Pgh Public Market and like their stuff.

Many CSAs allow you to list a few things you don't want where possible (eg, you may get extra zucchini instead of bell peppers if they are in your "no" list). Many CSAs include recipes or cooking suggestions. I was tossing the tops of beets only to learn from one of the newsletters that beet greens are really good for you. In some cases where there was too much of something and too little time, I've juiced stuff or cooked or roasted and frozen it. Look at vegetarian times, epicurious, or other recipe sites for ideas too.

Just plan to prep and cook within a few days or so of getting the box. Have fun!

She was great. Knew her cheese. Got to sample a lot of interesting stuff from Carol. Always a smile.
