The Snake River through Hells Canyon just below the Hells Canyon Dam on the Oregon/Idaho border.

A designated Wild and Scenic area.

The road ends at the Forest Service Visitor Center you can see if you look down>

This tiny island off Seil island near Oban, was hit by a tsunami many years ago which flooded the slate mines.. and its still full of sea water in the mines to this day...
