Hi All,

I was just wondering how things are these days as far as crime goes in the Scottsdale/Gilbert area?

I haven't seen people talking about it as much and just wondered how things were there?

Thanks!

There's crime everywhere but I think it's more of an attention grabber when you hear something bad happening in Gilbert or Scottsdale. It's not an everyday thing like some areas around the Valley.

Sablebaby I am so sorry to hear about your friend. I read your post. I am praying she is safely returned home.

Sheena~ Thanks for your insight. We are thinking of moving to the Scottdale/Gilbert area but when I read things like the story about Sablebaby's friend, it makes me nervous.

I was just hoping that with Sherriff Joe in town, things had improved

Hardcore cops don't deter the kinds of folks who kidnap people, like probably happened to Sablebaby's friend. The only thing that stops such people is not releasing them from jail in the first place. No one commits a crime like that as their first crime and no one does it who doesn't already have a rap sheet.

Rick you are probably right. So that falls back on these judges and public defenders who are fighting to get these people released and then people like Pelosi are fighthing to keep them from being deported.
