What street or road or avenue or lane or court or whatever makes you feel good to drive down? Which one's prettiest? What's on it that makes it good?

I'll say Cave Creek Rd. from Dunlap Ave. all the way up. It's just a great street typifying North Phoenix, weaving through hills and mountains. Many biker/western bars, motorcycle dealers, hole in the wall restaurants, pretty views, some nice areas, some not so nice areas, a great drive with character.

Your favorite street could be in any town in Maricopa county.

Central Avenue, as cliche as that sounds. What other road in Phoenix takes you through as many diverse areas as that?

Mill Avenue between Tempe Town Lake and Apache is a distant second

I like 12th St. Interesting modernist architecture, neat restaurants, a blast-from-the-past bowling alley, mountain views, and a strip club.

I like Cave Creek, too. I am also fond of Estrella Parkway south from the Gila River - not much but cactus, mountains and coyotes for several miles and then ends at a nice blue lake with grass and palm trees.. Anything that winds in the mountains/foothills is good with me.

I'll go along with Central, and Camelback from 44th, and maybe a little further west, on into Scottsdale. For something a little more off the beaten paths, Lafayette Boulevard.

University Drive between Mill and Rural mid day during school year. Should be deemed a scenic drive.

Central Ave from Dunlap south to Camelback is one of the more interesting and enjoyable drives for me. However another one that comes to mind is the area of the “Dreamy Draw”. Now it’s the Route 51 from Northern to 32nd St. still a very nice drive however not the street is was in the old days before 51 was made. And Lincoln Drive from the 51 east to 32nd St is also a pretty drive.
