I can picture this scene in my head from previous experiences with 'royalty' (basically, a black male 'Karen') that aren't being waited on fast enough. Good for the employee for taking the bigmouth down.
Be careful out there, tough guys, sometimes you come across someone more badass.

Philadelphia was feeling stabby yesterday:
Center City, 15th and Locust:

Doesn't sound drug gang-related.
Great one stabbing a couple blocks from my house and another only a block from my office. I've seen people elsewhere speculating the wawa employee will get fired. I certainly hope that is not the case.

Five shot over a game of dice, not drug gang-related. It's how things are handled in the 'hood.
That's not news

It wasn't. I saw the victim lying right next to the PATCO station stairwell at the NWC of 15th and Locust as I was leaving the Pen & Pencil Club. He had a small clutch-purse in his left hand.

So did several others, a few of whom tried to apply pressure to stop the heavy bleeding despite the victim's protestations. One of them was a doctor who was passing by at the time.

I went on my way after he asked everyone who had gathered around the victim to back away. I hope the ambulance got to him in time.

Wow. You should share any updated info if you recieve any.

If this was a random attack, that is very disturbing. I have friend relocating from NYC to 1500 Locust.

Another violent weekend:

I expect this in all these neighborhoods except for Wynnefield ... but nothing surprises me anymore in this city.
