The rest is a MasterCuts hair salon. Guess what else? In 2000-2001, you could actually smoke in a Wal-Mart/Walmart snack bar. All their stores in Texas had 50's themed "Radio Grill" snack bars that were always smoke-filled. KFC wasn't smoke-free then, at least the ones in Florida. I remember going to one in Jacksonville on vacation in 2000 and several employees on break were smoking. The Sbarro at Granite Run Mall (which broke off from Sbarro and is now called Sandro Pizza) was smoky too as of 2002. There was a fast food seafood chain in Texas called Captain D's which I also have many smoky memories of from around 2000.
I'm not sure what you're talking about because I'm pretty sure those places were smoke free in 2002. Then again, I never ate in that Burger King, only got takeout, so maybe I'm wrong. The others though were definitely smoke free.

Also, why do you continue to tell me about places I frequented then and still do as if I've never been there? I remember when every restaurant was smoking and non-smoking and I am damn glad there's no smoking in restaurants around here anymore. You ruin our food with that crap.

Has anybody been to the Clam Tavern in Clifton Heights recently? Not the one that used to be on MacDade Blvd...the one on Broadway. We used to go there "back in the day". They had fantastic seafood, reasonable prices and the waitresses were terrific. Then they closed down quite abruptly...maybe seven years ago?

I understand they're open again and was wondering if it's as good as it used to be.

Couldntthinkofaclevername, I know what I said because I WAS THERE. Maybe we should ask the management (possibly the franchise owner) of Burger King in Clifton if they had smoking.

I haven't been there yet but I've heard that it's great. The guy who runs it, Tony something.. he also took over what used to be Lump's, upgraded it and re-opened it as the "Broadway Bar and Grille" and if the article that featured him and his new establishment is the least bit accurate, he also revamped the menu.

And I've actually been a resident of that borough, not you. So enough of telling me about things I already know.

I even conceded that one to you because I didn't eat there often, despite the fact that you're talking about a place you've never lived as if you know it better.

Clifton Heights is a dump. Don't live here unless you like crystal meth and corrupt government
