Comcast Center is 975 feet tall and 58 floors.
One Liberty Place is 945 feet tall and 61 floors.

Comcast Innovation and Technology Center under construction will be 59 or 60 floors and 1,121 feet tall.

This proposal is estimated to be about 70 floors and 1,095 feet tall.

As a resident and property owner in University City all I can say is I'm speechless.

My grandmother, may she rest in peace, would put it this way: "Oy! I'm kvelling!!!"

Why don't the renderings show all the other new high rises in University City? Is it some bias against those developers? This project, as potentially great as it is, makes the adjacent bits of University City look flat when that's not true. Of course it's obviously meant to make this look even grander.

Probably not the finished product, but here is what the proposed 30th Street District Plan looks like so far...

There will be a public open house for the District Plan will be held on Wednesday, March 16th from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM behind the ticket counter at 30th Street Station. I wish that I could go, but I will be in the Lehigh Valley since I'm not on Spring Break yet.

Sometimes Philadelphia goes over the top. Do we really need 2 dozen skyscrapers over the rail yards? is this plan really feasible?

Wouldnt a nice realistic residential neigborhood be a better option at that location?

Kind of like Blatsteins hideously ridiculous proposal at Broad + Washington. Why not stop dreaming and Start building practical projects that fit into the surrounding neighborhoods.

How insane is that rendering. Theres $10 b worth of highrises over the rail yards and yet the Parkway(the dullest cultural stretch ever imo) is lined with little league fields. I mean WTH is wrong the people running this city? This city got moron gene when it comes to development. Its unbelievable.
