Parking, parking, parking. At least it's a whole block away from a subway station, instead of right on top of one.

Luxury 26 story condo planned for Independence neighborhood: New luxury high-rise planned for historic area. It is from the developer of 1706 Rittenhouse, so it will be rather swanky. Interesting read.

It's such a shame that service ended to West Chester to begin with -- it's one of the must successful/vibrant boroughs in the Philly area!

It would be absurd if years of "study" are wasted on what is a common sense expansion for SEPTA. There's no excuse in this day and age for that; it should quickly move to a top priority for funding.

^Now that is HUGE. Those 1970's concrete buildings on Market are so ugly.

I'll bet PREIT feels a lot more comfortable spending the money to pimp out The Gallery now.

Very exciting stuff, and I hope some is commercial. As someone who will be job searching in Philly in January, I would love to see CC start attracting more commercial office space and more companies. Last thing I want to do is live in a great city only to reverse commute to the burbs every day. And I'm not saying there isn't a lot of commercial, I just hope to see that picks-up alongside residential and retail.

I just re-read the article. Sorry for my premature question. I am so excited!
I wonder how MArket East will look 10 years from now. Heck how about 5 years from now!
