That's cool. I thought Starr said he was done opening restaurants in Philly? Definitely can use a theater. (please please please please renovate the Sameric/Boyd! the balcony is huge and could be a great spot for the food service part!).

No... Starr is not "done" opening restaurants in Philly, he was just taking a break to open a restaurant in NYC and to search for other prospect locations to open a restaurant around the US. Starr will never be done with Philly. He is a Philadelphian through and through. Great idea and great spot to open a theater though in my opinion.

By "done" I didn't mean "had enough and moving on!!". More like he said it was saturated with his restaurants or something to that effect, and he was going to focus on other areas, basically as you said. LOL people on here get so defensive!

Cool article. I always liked that Bentley was one of the very few CAD companies that held out from selling out to Autodesk. They made a superior product too (MicroStation). Never understood why it didn't catch on more.

Didn't mean to sound defensive nor was I being defensive. I was just stating that Starr is not done with Philly nor will he ever be.

Kids calm down Yes Starr did make the comment and I took it the same way as roto. I did hear a rumor that this is a new opp and that it may have changed his mind. Hear it actually could be on North Broad actually and part of a substantial new development, will see if the source pans out In my personal view think this could work well in a redeveloped Gallery as well.
