It will be in our lifetimes (if you're in your 20's now) that Center City will be on par with Midtown Manhattan for vibrancy. We don't need Times Square, though.

^^^ By all means, post as often as you can now, because you don't have much time left.

Why are you obsessed with comparing Philly to New York and other cities?

We are our own city, with our own unique trajectory.

No real Philadelphian cares so much about what other cities are doing.

Have you ever really spent time in Midtown Manhattan? Central Park West? Upper East Side(5th Ave/Madison Ave)? I mean walked around for any length of time? Doesn't seem like it.

I love Philly. I was born here. But there's no way, in anyone's lifetime, that Phila. could match it. Shopping. Feel. Met. of Museum of Art. Natural History Museum. Broadway theaters/theater district. The level of wealth. There's a reason why actress Demi Moore believes she can sell her condo on Central Park West for $75 million. Nothing like that is likely here.

Times Sq.? You haven't been there lately or at all. There's little to no vehicular traffic now. Cars have been mostly banned. It's a pedestrian-like plaza.

You are not doing Phila. any favors by making these exaggerated claims.
