I keep seeing a lot of post telling people to stay away from Bristol and Bristol is horrible. Please keep in mind that there is a big difference between the Borough and Township. I have lived in both and must say the Borough is awesome and a lot is being done to make an already nice town nicer. The townships trouble is mostly focused around 3 or 4 areas. Venice Ashby, Fleetwing, Bloomsdale and Windervillage.

I graduated from Truman in 95 and the school was awful but its what you make of it. Theres the catholic schools around where you can send your kids which have an awesome reputation. I currently live in the Borough and the schools are much better but I'm still going to send my daughter to catholic school. To all of you people from Yardley, Newtown, Newhope, and other areas bashing Bristol do your research before blabbing your mouth.

People who put it down dont know it very well. I was bit cautious when purchasing a house here, but it is a beautiful place and all the neighbors are great. My neighbors have been here for 10 years or more and none of them have ever had problems. Crime happens everywhere ( I got my house broken into in Yardley) but I think the crime in bristol is amplified, people want it to be bad for some reason. We are staying here, I love the place!

Hi, I am very much interested in purchasing a home in Bristol Borough.
Is there anywhere you can point me too where I can find crime reports to compare to the rest of the areas?
All I keep coming up with is info on Bristol Township and nothing specificly on the Borough.

Also, what can you tell me about the night life and the Bristol spurline park and the D&L trail and towpath on the canal?

Is it good for walking and bike riding?

Where is the best place to go for an evening walk or run?

Thanks in advance?

I'm moving to Bristol Borough in April and sending my daughter to Conwell Egan catholic school in the Fall. Just found out that there are no buses in the borough for Egan, only the Tech school. Mind you that all the other districts bus CEC and Tech students together. Why not the Borough???
