Hello,
I've been reading the forum for quite some time now but didn't register till today. Some great advice can be found here and I hope to share some of my experiences with you.

We recently made an offer on a home in Fairless Hills, PA (Bristol Township) and are still in the phase of going back and forth on the price.

Is Bristol Township really that bad? Or is it "bad" because it rivals with Pennsbury? At the moment schools are not big concern, but will be once we have children in few years and re-sale value.

Thanks for any insight on Bristol Township!

Bristol has it's slump areas and I think Bristol gets a negative rap all the time, so areas are good, some bad....

Just take a look around the community a little more, take a drive around the area and go with your gut reaction.

I have never lived in Bristol, only have had friends live there, and I've seen good and bad come from there... overall I felt safe there, but there are some areas/sections i was weary of...

Thanks for the reply kenandbee!

The sellers accepted our offer today, we were able to get it for very decent price. We took a drive out there tonight and the home is in Fairless Hills but part of Bristol Twshp. So the area that is in is very nice and kept clean, located near by all the stores.

Overall, we are very please with our purchase.
