I'm 52 and I still wear wallabees, corderoy pants, pendleton flannel shirts.

I'm hoping knee high socks with stripes at the top and short athletic shorts make a comeback.

I second the "UGH!" my daughter has been asking for this expensive stuff as well, but she is in high school. No amount of convincing will tell her that material goods aren't a good way to fit in!!

I also refuse to buy Uggs, expensive $500 dresses from macy's, and until she can afford one, she will be using my car -only with permission.
