Good to "see" you, Ewag!

I had hideous detox headaches-- ended up quitting via switching to Excedrin, and dialing that back as the headaches went away. But I'm caffeine free, finally, after a couple of decades of major addiction.

I also love "wheelie bin". I love to say, "I've put the wheelie bin at the curb."
"Wheelie bin" is spectacular.
And the cat food has been renamed "kitty dins" after an overdose of Kerry Greenwood novels. (Yeah, I know, not a British writer, Australian.)

Ewag! Yay. I was worried, but I figured that's what it was. Glad you got it back on already, that's great.

MrsX, you and me and Dew should write a tell all!

Kobber - omg, I still totally get the date wrong. I can usually read it ok - but if I have to say it or write it I have to think about it every single bloody time. It doesn't help that my birthday is 11/1 or 1/11....

Glad you got a good start on MissNum's room! Good on ya.

I really need to go to bed but EastEnders is on at 11.

Here. We can all take this and report back to Dew.

Mine says "Western"....
Northeastern for me. I am often accused of being from NYC. I'm not, actually I was born and raised in NJ, along with my entire family, and DH. Nobody but me sounds like a New Yorker. Supposedly its because of the way I say "coffee" and "water".

I'm not surprised Americans write the date differently from the rest of the world. Remember, we couldn't master the metric system either.

Glad you're back up and running Ewag. I have a good friend with homes at the Jersey shore and Vermont. Both areas got hammered. Has anybody seen the pictures coming out of VT? So many towns under water now, and some gorgeous covered bridges washed away. They are calling it a 500 year flood.

My mother is fine. I can't believe she thought she would get away with my not finding out her car wasn't here. Her neighbors told her to tell me it was in for a tuneup. She's in an adult community. These seniors were conspiring. She asked me not to tell my brothers because she needs to drive. I think she's still ok to drive around town though. I have to make her promise to stay off the highways.

All danger aside, that's really cute! I could see CDMWR conspiring when we're older too!

::considering::

Ouiser Boudreaaux moves to Sun City. Oh, my, I can see it now.

Good morning, CDMWR!

(actually that sounded more like Robin Williams as Adrian Cronauer)
