Good to hear from everyone this morning....

Dew - just checking the highlights this morning....even though the outcome wasn't as hoped, it looks like the first string looked good last night....that works.

LOL at the school clothes/uniforms as birthday gifts. Had my share of that over the years myself.

Morning all. Glad to here the reports coming in from the East coast are good.

Congratulations on the win MM! Very nice. Yes, our first string looks muy bueno. The bomb from Kolb to Larry was their first TD. I think we're going to be OK with those two. I'm hoping to catch a re-run of your game. Gotta check out our BQ.

Dew - the lovely Mr. Q did not play last night. Tebow was no. 2 and came in about mid 3Q. Guessing it was due to him hardly playing last game. Had some ups and some downs. It'll be interesting to see who plays in your backyard next week.

If last night was indicative of the season, I don't know how long the Seahawks QB can play without some kind of protection. His OL missed the plane to Denver or something.

ETA: I looked around to see if I could watch some of your game last night. I don't think we got it at all...bummer.

Makes sense. I'm sure they want to look at TT as much as possible. Especially after what Boomer E. said about him this week. (Ouch!)

I'm looking forward to seeing your guys in the Nest this week.

Goal for today....
Search for $10+tax in change.
I need a plain blue shirt for Tuesday and for some reason everything navy blue in my closet has print on it or doesn't work for...won't look right.
Hollister has a navy blue v-neck for $10.
Wish me luck!

And sorry to hear about the hurricanes and tornadoes, I have never really been in either but I bet both are pretty scary.
I hope everyone is ok. Flooding is never fun, I have had that happen before.
I wish I could go down during the hurricanes to help out. I wish I could do coast guard, ONLY if I could be search and rescue, you know jumping or repelling down from the helicopters into the water to pull people out, with my swimming back ground and lifeguard training I already have a slight advantage.

I'm wondering myself. Hope all is well.

How did you do Fin? Any damage?

(We got hit with another haboob last night but right now a little dust is the least of worries.) Ewag, please tell us you are OK!

She may have lost power. There's a lot of trees down.

We're all fine, thanks you guys. It's quite windy right now, and there's some trees a bit broken and leaning on some lines up the street - but I think they're communication and not power, so that's good.

Sorry you had yet another haboob, Dew. I think I'd rather have a hurricane. As long as Ewag's ok, of course. I haven't heard of anything too catastrophic, so I'm sure she's fine. She might be taking a nap (a real one) - I know I didn't get much sleep.

mm - I meant to quote you too - sorry, a bit slow today!
