Hope everything is OK there. Let us know how your house did.
All good, thank you for asking. Aside from the fencing and the poor orange tree I only had the siding on one side ripped off. Watching the news and seeing so much damage in the area, I feel guilty for whining about anything I got. And now at least I can make several gallons of orange juice from all the oranges now on the ground lol. I am so grateful they didn't hurl through the air and wreak some major havoc. Funny how bolted on siding can come off but something like fruit doesn't go anywhere.
Dew, some parents went to Back to School night to meet the teachers and hear what we would be learning that year. Most parents did also go to Open House, also.

Oh yeah. My parents met with the teachers. I was just commenting that there weren't a lot of dress-up occasions in O.C. in the early 60's. Nothin' there but miles and miles of orange groves. My dad was actually the dad who sat and asked questions. His parents were teachers.
We both have big heat today, so stay cool. Going to be mid-90's here.
Kathleen, glad you did OK. The news is showing some pretty incredible damage. Boy, I feel for those people.
Today is Opening Day here - supposed to be warm but windy....
Glad it's Friday.
Are you going to the game?
DS and DH are going to go to the auto show - depending on when the people come to put in DS's new Jeep windshield. They are like the cable guy - a 4 hour window.
He got the Jeep all painted! Only slight melt down earlier in the week when the first round he rushed and had a lot of runs. He re-sanded and took his time yesterday and it looks great. Finally all one color.....this has been a looooong project.
No....not going...it would be fun though....I do enjoy going to baseball games....We usually get to a few during the season. DS is a big Cubs fan, so we do try to get to that one at least....
It's opening day in Cleveland too! I remember my mom used to let us skip a day of school and take us to the game and it was ALWAYS snowing/raining/freezing and we would bring huge blankets and sneak in lots of snacks.
