Dew, you know I am the Queen of the Good Deals.

Seriously though, this woman came over today. She left her sunglasses on the whole time. I thought it was so strange.

And she was so off-putting. I need to have a good business relationship with this woman, but she seemed really odd. And kept talking about me-me-me.

I wish I could go into more detail.

But it was weird. Threw me off for the whole day.

P.S. Also to add the bad day vibe, I got a bleach spot on my new shirt.

Depending on the color of the shirt, I've used a Sharpie to cover up a bleach spot before.

My 20-year reunion is tomorrow night. I'm not going. It doesn't sound like a whole lot of people are.

Is there a particular reason you aren't going? Mine is at the end of the year, and I'm only going to see a select few friends.

Calgirl, I think the me, me, me would bother me more than the sunglasses inside the house.

Maybe she's got a medical condition? I had to get light treatments for a skin condition. Had to wear sunglasses 24/7 afterwards. I felt like Jack Nicholson.

Yeah, me too.

But wouldn't you say, Oh I'm sorry, I just had a procedure done and can't take these off?

I know this probably seems like no biggie, but it was just one of the many things that, added up, gave me pause.

the select few friends I'd want to see aren't going. If I were in town, I'd go, but it would have meant making our summer vacation for the year going back home, and that just isn't what we wanted to do.

I understand, especially with the inlaws in the mix too.

Who knows if we'll ever have another one, so I feel I must go to this one, but I do have mixed feelings.

Sometimes I said something, sometimes I didn't. Depended on the person and the situation.

I'm a big believer in going with your gut. If you feel uneasy, there's usually a very good reason why.
