Are they like the pumpkins mounds? Really doesn't need to be that high for pumpkins.

Don't know. Last time we had pumpkins DD plopped some seeds in the grass. No mound. No nothing.

I think you're right. I think the mound just has to be big enough for the plants to not sit in water. I'll make it about 6 or 8 inches high.

We had some in-law drama today. They finally e-mailed to ask about a summer visit (now that we're 3 weeks in to an 8-week summer). I will never understand why they do things the way they do. They aren't coming. They can't make it work. I take that back.. They ARE coming to the mountains, but they'll be here the only week that we are gone. oh well. g'nite all. I have to go tuck my 5 yo in again. He fell asleep while sequestered in his room this afternoon. Now he can't sleep.

I personally would be relieved if I narrowly missed my inlaws.

btw, catch 5yo good behavior and lavish him with attention. Subconsciously rewarding good behavior goes a long way. Good luck!

I know...

I just can't get over the fact that they'll be right here, yet couldn't plan well enough to make sure they'd see the kids.

Good Morning All!

I need to clean and organize a bit today, I have family coming in next week, and the house looks like one of those crack houses on Law & Order!

I can't post in that new thread, just all kinds of nasty.

I don't know if anyone ever reads The Bloggess? Today's entry is pee-in-your-pants funny. A few naughty words for those who would rather not.

And that’s why you should learn to pick your battles.

Dude! Nice Chicken.

Nice Radiohead too, thank you. You are indeed full of whimsy, Zim.

If you notice, I feel the same way about that thread. So far I have resisted posting, but I am afraid that if I keep reading, it will just burst out of me. If that happens, you will be seeing a book.

Hey! I like the look of those crack houses. I decorated my house after that style. Or is it DD who decorated it in that style?
