Oh, I'm the same way. It doesn't exactly make me squeamish, though. It makes my eyes water. Those visine commercials they used to have with the big eye drawn on the chalkboard? Yeah, I couldn't even watch that.

Hope everyone is having a good afternoon. I got my permanent crown and we got DH's car out of the shop. Maybe it's just me but I love how they all say, "Yeah. We did a great job repairing it!" and I'm thinking, "How about building a car that doesn't have major problems when it's less than three years old?"

Oh and I can handle pretty much anything that doesn't involve my own eyeballs. I can't even take the thought of contacts. Or mascara. Nothing by my eyes, thank you very much. Yech. Shivers just thinking about it.

I went furniture shopping. Decisions, decisions.

I'm torn between the super expensive leather sectional or going with a fabric one for a third of the price and using the remaining money for other things.

But the leather sectional is perfect. I'm very conflicted about this decision.

Thanks for reminding me of why I wanted leather in the first place!

It will be 16 weeks before delivery because I need to order it in a leather that doesn't show scratches.

It's worth the wait since it's the perfect sectional: comfortable, low profile, not big and bulky.

I'll go back on Friday and order it.

I put my application in for my apartment today. It was really really exciting. I did the application fee out of my own hard earned money. I love my broker too. .Shes a sweet old lady who raised 6 kids and lives right near me. So cute.

Yay, Ohiogirl! Good job.

Kids across the street are outside playing. Their frisbee landed in the middle of our cactus. So I went out and asked if they needed our "grabber". They said, "Yes, please." I asked them where they learned to say, "Yes, please." They said from their parents. Bless their little hearts. (Which I mean sincerely. You all have made me slightly paranoid with my "Bless your hearts". )

(I left the grabber out for them. They'll be back.)

So, i'm in Blue Springs, MO.
Kansas smells like crap.
Its construction looks like a bunch of kindergartners with lego experience are working on it.

BUT OMG ITS WARM.
And humid.

But yay.
Another 10 hour driving day tomorrow, half way there.

Oh and OMG, I just found out I can tether my blackberry to my laptop and use it internet service and they don't require me to add an ADDITIONAL $30 a month package, it just worked. ITS AWESOME. I can now use my laptop virtually anywhere.
