Slurpee? We love Slurpees from 7-Eleven. I stopped in there the other day and they sell little tins to hold gift cards. The tin is adorable, the shape of a slurpee and I got a dollar off my slurpee for buying it. I then bought a slurpee gift card for 5 bucks. Just something small and unexpected for the stocking.
I have a 7 and a 5 yo boy. I got some miniature size tinker toys and lincoln logs at bed bath and beyond, and some star wars pens and note pads in the target dollar section.
What about some Hot Wheels cars or Beyblades? And the target $1 section is great. Got my 7 year old a mini slinkie from that. A book, a dvd maybe? The kids do love the silly bandz. A little flashlight? A snack cake or a pkg of mini oreos/chips ahoy instead of the candy.
Hit the dollar store. We came out of there today with bags of fun stuff for the kiddos stockings. Shoot, I think we have enough for 3 stockings per kid.
Part of the fun is giving your kids some boring gifts .
I agree. I typically put just a couple of boring but likable stuff in there. cutesy socks I typically wouldnt buy. battery operated toothbrush with whatever favorite character. bandaids with favorite character. I dont usually spend the extra money on that stuff except for a few stocking stuffers.
