Personally I think if you are old enough to wear a bra or shave you should not be trick or treating. But now with so many girls developing early I guess I will have to change that to If you are old enough to be using birthcontrol you shouldn't be trick or treating.

I used to hire out as a babysitter on Halloween night and made alot of money taking little kids out in a big group for an hour or two while adults partied or stayed home to answer the door.

Here, there are kids who-- to me-- are way too old for Trick or Treating. Last year my mother had dozens of older teens ringing her doorbell, some ringing after 8 p.m. She stopped answering the bell at 7.

I remember that we stopped doing this at about age 12. Not sure if things have changed since then but the bulk of the kids ringing bells after 5 p.m. are a good bit older than that.

Is Trick or Treating mainly an activity for small kids where you live?

Any age is welcome..kids come in all ages..babies, kids, preteens, teens, young adults, adults, anyone is welcome...CANDY to ALL

I don't have a cut off age. Halloween is my favorite holiday and I'd rather see teens out getting some candy than the other things they could be doing.

No cutoff age as far as I'm concerned either.
My oldest stopped at about age 12, my youngest kept trick or treating with friends until he was in college. Some "kids" never grow up, and I think it's great they keep that sense of fun as they get older.

My sons both went until they graduated from high school. I told them they were too old and always gave them and their friends apples My oldest sons best friend since they were in diapers even came home from her (yes, his best friend is a girl) freshman year in college so they could go one more time.

We have a very busy little neighborhood on halloween for one and i don't feel like the little ones not getting any because 16 years olds seem to feel that need to have it too. They had their time and they should allow the little kids to have theirs.

That if i give it to them then i will run out for the little children...there are plenty of Halloween themed events for teens that they can allow the little ones their enjoyment.
