its a little window to the world 1/2 million people nationwide.
it made me realize how and why americans think what they do.
CDF - a great learning tool.
its the only place i know where people will say what they honestly feel,
im ok with them being wrong or unrepentant in that wrong, giving an honest
opinion lets me know where people are at.
both the good and the bad.
what CDF shows is 50 years of change.
we used to be more narrow minded and pollyana.
hard working dedicated and faithful.
we had a trade and learned it young
were not CEO's we did not hope to become one
and we did not have as much as now.
we were disciplined focused and obediant
then came 50 years of the good life.
That there are genuine people who answer genuine questions.
When I first joined I was in a forum where the people were mean and I thought the whole place might be like that. I was wrong.
Learned the hard way what questions you could ask and not.
That earning the first star was a highlight.
That frowns eventually turn into smiles.
note: in regard to my first response, I hope there are great posters in other city relocation threads as there are in the LA forum. Those folks are genuine!
