I've learned that I'm a whole lot cooler online...

I've also learned that I want to learn to type upside down too!

Sounds like a Redneck Okie to me.

I've become even more acute of certain things about me, some good and some not-so-good (and I ain't gonna say either way!).

Some forums are pretty much a big waste of time (ain't gonna say which ones!). Worse, occasionally I waste MY time posting in "those" forums.

As I've always suspected, I'm more convinced than ever that too many Portlanders have their heads in the sand (and it's why I seldom post anything in their forum).

Long, old threads lost their lustre and should be allowed to be revived with replacement ones. (Rare that I post into one that's more than 5 or 6 pages long.)

Nor do I add more than 3 posts per thread. If it's in a controversial thread, it isn't worth "arguing" about.

Too many Americans can't write (spelling, punctuation, grammar) worth a damn.

CD provides proof that the nation truly IS divided when it comes to politics.

The politics forum has been my CD home for nearly two years and have made a few friends but has seriously regressed to a whole new level of pettiness these past few months and no serious interest in discussing the topics. Too many trolls. I learned early on that the religion forum is full of folks that want to mock the beliefs of others so I rarely venture there. Now I'm just discovering the other forums and meeting new folks. My current favorite now is the "other topics" as there are many neat folks that I have recently got to know.
