Hmmm.. my love life has been going downhill for a while... I tried walking backwards but I ended up falling, I'll try walking in a zig-zagging pattern...
Or you could try the slapping your own inner quad part.............
[b][color="Blue"]Zig-zag. Instead of walking straight down the incline, walk in a zig zag pattern. This significantly decreases the pressure on your knee joints.
Why am I picturing Peter Falk from "The In-Laws" (1979 version), when he was instructing Alan Arkin in the art os spycraft? "Serpentine, Shelley, Serpentine!" I wonder how that would translate to incline, and I might actually try it.
Thanks, as always, for the , normie!

Slap your VMO. The vastis medialis oblique is the inner part of your quads. It's the muscle that keeps the knee cap tracking correctly, and you will have less stress on your knees if you give it a few little smacks right before you head downhill.
Boy! I cannot imagine walking backwards on the downhill side. I would roll down in a ball.
I've done it a few times on very steep streets in San Francisco but that was uphill.
