I am truly saddened by this news. I didn't know him personally, but I always enjoyed reading his posts. He was such a gentleman and so well spoken, and he surely will be missed. My condolences to his family and may he rest in peace.
I just found out and was shocked to read this. His witty comments and interesting posts will definately be missed. He is a loss to CD and all of friends in 'real life' and online.
Being kind of new here also, there are certain names you see alot and become familiar to you, he was one. I remember seeing his picture and thought he seemed soo young for some of his responses, now he seems so young to be gone. He is at peace now.
BTW, this is a very nice thread....I think he will be pleased.
I am shocked and saddened beyond words. MoMark was the friendliest person and most reliable source of information in this entire forum. My prayers go out to his family; may he rest in peace.
As I signed in just moments ago, I saw the banner dedicated to the passing of MoMark. I felt a wrench in my gut and chocked back tears! How terribly, terribly sad. Many were the days that I logged in just to read MoMark's posts. He was incredibly brilliant, incredibly wise and a truly decent human being. The world has lost a good man - I'm sure there were many crowns awaiting him in Heaven as he was greeted by his Holy Father. May his family and friends feel God's love and peace.
It's amazing how a computer can enable one to touch so many lives. Momark (Matt) will truly be missed by many, as evidenced by this long thread of posts. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
How terribly sad. I think we will all miss him greatly. I am relatively new to the forum but had already begun to look forward to his posts, knowing he would say just exactly the "right" thing to put all in proper perspective.
I just signed on after being away for several weeks out of the country and am absolutely in shock upon reading this thread. I can't even quite articulate my feelings of sadness and shock. He was able to strike a chord in so many of us who he only knew through the computer screen. I can only imagine the impact such an intelligent, witty, kind and caring man had on those lucky enough to have been graced with his physical presence and my deepest condolensces go out to all of those friends and family that he has left behind.
Rest in peace Matthew. You will be missed.
