Today's Question(s):

Any strange,unusual or out of the ordinary things you have done while at work ? Nope, everything has been status quo.

Bonus Question:

Wow I was surprised when I opened my mail and found a check from my friend. Well, he owed me that money. However, I was just surprised that he actually paid me back.

Something New:

Wow a little bald on top
I don't know should I go over and get a closer look
Too expensive way out of my league
Thats a little too chunky
omg look over there it's perfect

OK take a guess !! Where was I when I heard these conversations ? Looking at X-mas trees

Strange or unusual? At my work? Everything I do is strange, lol. Crawling under shelves, tossing candy back and forth to another worker, standing on the 15 ft ladder and observing what everyone else in the building is doing....

Good morning, All! (Karla, I lOVE eating breakfast out with friends! We go out with our neighbors every Saturday!

Today's Question(s):

Any strange,unusual or out of the ordinary things you have done while at work ? One of the things I enjoy about driving a truck is that every day really IS different. I see all SORTS of unusual stuff in the cars that pass me (some unsuitable for a family website...) Some months back, I had a family pass me; mom, dad and two kids in the back. Dad turned on the dome light to reveal that mom was topless. I guess the family that displays together, stays together...

Any strange,unusual or out of the ordinary things you have done while at work ? Lots of goofy or bizarre stuff over the years but the most out of the ordinary thing that stands out for me today was being on the phone with my sister in NYC when the first plane hit on 9/11 and then watching the following hours unfold.

Post your "oh how cute pet pictures" here !! Can't wait to see what dbl-r posts - might not be his pets but he has some fab animal pics!

Glad you got your seeds, Karla!

Today's Question(s):

Any strange,unusual or out of the ordinary things you have done while at work?

The work life of an accountant is pretty humdrum, I fear, but way back in the day when I was in college, I worked nights at a Chinese restaurant to keep body and soul together. The owner was fascinated by my descriptions of lasagna, and asked me to make up a batch for him to try. I suspect that the result was the only batch of lasagna ever made in a wok. The restaurant owner liked it quite a bit, too.

I'll have to see if I can find where my daughter put them on this new laptop. It's a great machine, but I haven't got everything figured out yet.

Each line individually or as a group? I was thinking you meant as one place -- thought maybe looking at purses or shoes but the whole "Little bald on top" threw me off.

Any strange,unusual or out of the ordinary things you have done while at work ?

Since I work at a house dating from the 1550s with major parts built as a palace for Charles I in the 1640s my day to day activities are by nature unusual.

The usual day to day things are showing people the finest 17th Century State rooms in the country and describing works of art from one of the finest private collections in Europe, including works by Rembrandt, Rubens, a fantastic Van Dyke collection and many many others.

I've had to help repair a Chippendale settee and at the end of each day place a cover over a cabinet containing a lock of Queen Elizabeth I's hair dating from around 1580.

If that wasn't enough I have to walk through Gothic revival cloisters containing one of the finest collections in Britain of Roman and Greek antiquities.

More unusually I have to help when they are filming TV programmes or movies and the most unusual thing I saw early one morning was someone riding a camel through the grounds. She was heading for some steps and was practicing riding up and down them for some public event in London!

And no- I don't drink!

Here's a photo of the house showing the 17th Century wing with a 16th Century central tower-

As for the cute shot of animals, here's one I've posted elsewhere before. It's of our dog and cat who spend much time together:
