When I was in the AF, I was stationed with a guy whose last name was Raper so he was known as "Airman Raper."
When I was in tech school, we were stationed with Navy and there was supposedly a guys whose last name was Sample...."Seaman Sample" I dont know if he existed, since I never met him...

I remember when I was 19, I worked as a carry-out at a grocery store in 1976, there was another kid, who was also a carry-out, his name was Richard Nickson, that's how his last name was spelled, but it sounded exactly like the name of the 37th president of the United States.

I also know there is a local politician, I think he ran for a city councilman's office in the 2008 elections, his name was Dean Martin. I remember seeing his campaign signs all over the place in north Phoenix, and I believe he won.
