Shopping carts just don't handle well in slush and snow do they..... Chains?...no no no would be too noisy in the store.
This is an understatement!! I had to laugh (I was so frustrated it was either laugh or cry) when I was trying to get the cart to the far end of Target's parking lot. I finally coraled the cart and carried the stuff the rest of the way - much easier.

I work with mentally disabled children and adults, usually alone. Well....since this is Xmas vacation for students I took care of a child today with the Mom home, the younger sister at home and the Dad home! Yikes!!!! The Dad usually comes home sometime mid morning from work and sleeps, fine...well the Mom was home all day as well as the 8 year old sister. The Mom decides to go take the car to be inspected and leaves the little sis with me!! Did not even ask. So once the mom was gone the girl starts bugging me, hanging on me, TV too loud (spongebob)! How am I going to be a grandma if I can't even handle this little girl who plays her Mom like a fiddle:tap e:
Forget the fact that it is illegal to leave her with me. Forget the fact that she didn't ask if it was OK!
One year ago I was not on any medications for anything. I had lost 40lbs, and was feeling great.
Now.....
One pill makes me pee.
One pill makes me retain water.
One pill makes me sleepy
One pill stimulates me.
Just as I fall asleep, I have to pee. I get up, and sit....and it won't work.
I go back to bed, and now I'm wide awake for the rest of the night.

had to back away a bit from a friendship. too much too soon.
