a little scared when they announced the graduating units and his was not mentioned , Then we saw him come out with the drill team (what a rush)
My nephew got back to jersey from Irag on Wednesday but the baby decided to come out on Tuesday
Here is a picture of the little one

I just rec this e-mail from my uncle (only problem is i got to start wearing underwear again)
Hi Y'all:
Many of you know that my Betty is a volunteer seamstress for "Sew Much Comfort," Sew Much Comfort -
a group which makes adaptive clothing for wounded veterans. This clothing is all provided through veteran's hospitals at no cost to the patient.
At a meeting last night, with the National Vice President of SMC, Betty learned that Hanes had donated 6000 pairs of boxer shorts, and shipped them at their costs to the National Headquarters. What a tremendous help this will be for our vets who are now wearing prosthetic limbs.
I, for one, will remember the name "Hanes" when shopping for underwear, and hope each of you will consider doing the same. They should be appreciated for what they have done for those who are serving!!
Please pass this along to all of your friends.
Thanks.
Pat
We have an organization in our town that does great things for the soldiers. They are called Operation Touch Of Home. The whole town donates everything, all the volunteers prepare all the packages & send them on. They are always collecting the names of area soldiers to help.
Tis the season, so here are a couple more things I just heard about...
(for service men and women wounded or injured in Iraq or Afghanistan or for their families to visit them in the hospital)
Donate Your Unused Airline Miles: Operation Hero Miles unused frequent.
You can donate unused frequent flyer miles for service men and women wounded or injured in Iraq or Afghanistan or for their families to visit them in the hospital.
Welcome to Cell Phones for Soldiers! For this one, you donate your old cell phones for recycling and the money is used to buy calling cards for the troops. You can even print labels for shipping right from this site.

'Twas the night before Christmas,
and out here on the line,
my mind drifts back home
to much happier times.
'Twas the night before Christmas,
and we're all hunkered down,
cold, tired and hungry --
another night on the ground.
'Twas the night before Christmas,
with jets screaming by.
Missiles and smart bombs
rain down from the sky.
'Twas the night before Christmas,
what's that glow that I see?
It looks like the Star
standing here over me.
'Twas the night before Christmas,
and beneath the Star's glow,
I know God is with us
wherever we go.
'Twas the night before Christmas,
thank you, God, for Your Son.
Keep us safe through the night, Lord,
and 'til this war is done.
'Twas the night before Christmas,
rising to the occasion,
lay it all on the line
for our beloved nation.
'Twas the night before Christmas,
here's our gift to you.
Another wonderful Christmas,
beneath the Red, White & Blue.
'Twas the night before Christmas,
next Christmas we'll sing.
But, now we must fight
to hear freedom ring.
