Not from a cake mix, no. From a cookie mix or from scratch.

They're okay.

Nope.

Do you like Rice Krispie treats? They're okay. If you drink chocolate milk or hot cocoa, what do you add to milk to make it chocolate?
When I was a kid we added Nesquick chocolate powder.
When did you last eat a cookie, and what kind was it? I ate two homemade oatmeal raisin cookies this morning.
Do you like to drink milk, coffee or another beverage with cookies? Occasionally, I'll drink almond milk with a cookie, sometimes hot tea, but most often just water.
I make really good fudgy brownies from scratch. Do you like brownies? I love my brownies. I use my mom's recipe from when I was a kid. It calls for cocoa powder and 4 eggs, plus the usual butter, sugar, flour and vanilla.
If you like brownies, do you prefer them frosted or unfrosted? Unfrosted. They're sweet enough without adding frosting. I just sprinkle a tiny bit of powdered sugar on my brownies to make them look pretty.
Did you give or receive any baked goods or candies during the recent holidays? A friend gave me a homemade nut roll for Christmas and my boyfriend gave me some dark chocolates.
Have you ever made cookies using a cake mix? Yes. They're not as good as those I make from scratch, but they're okay.
Do you like nuts in cookies? Only in oatmeal cookies.
Do you like nuts on or in ice cream? I don't like nuts on sundaes, but I do like butter pecan ice cream (though it's been years since I had any).
Have you ever used a cookie press (e.g., to make spritz cookies)? Yes. I've made spritz cookies many times in shapes such as stars, Christmas trees, wreaths and bells. I've also used glass stamps to press designs into cookies.
What is your favorite bar-type cookie? Toll House marble squares and date bars.
Do you like Rice Krispie treats? They're just okay for me; usually much too sweet for my liking.
If you drink chocolate milk or hot cocoa, what do you add to milk to make it chocolate? I don't drink cold chocolate milk. When I make hot cocoa, I'll sometimes use a packet of diet Swiss Miss. But my favorite is to make hot cocoa from scratch. I'll put some unsweetened cocoa in a mug, add a half packet of stevia sweetener, add a tiny bit of milk and make a paste. Then I stir in a couple drops of vanilla and fill the mug with hot almond milk. Deeeeeelicious!

Do you like nuts in cookies? Yes, I like nuts. One of my favorite recipes is for Black Walnut Icebox Cookies.
Do you like nuts on or in ice cream? I like vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce and a chopped peanut topping. I also like pistachio ice cream.
Have you ever used a cookie press (e.g., to make spritz cookies)? Yes, I have.
What is your favorite bar-type cookie? They're not really a cookie, but I like Kirkland nut bars.
Do you like Rice Krispie treats? Yes, they're an old favorite.
If you drink chocolate milk or hot cocoa, what do you add to milk to make it chocolate? I use hot cocoa mix that comes in packets, preferably Swiss Miss. I don't usually drink chocolate milk, but when I do I make it with Torani dark chocolate sauce.

I had a cookie last week. Chocolate chocolate chip. I had it with tea.
I don't usually rat brownies unless I make them. I put a swirl of cream cheese in mine. No frosting. I like walnuts in them.
I did cookie arrangements on glass xmas plates for friends. I pick up the xmas plates at thrift stores. I wouldn't dream of using a cake mix for anything. ( My nose is high in the air when I say this with scorn.)

I make really good fudgy brownies from scratch. Do you like brownies? No. As I've aged, fudgy/chocolate type cookies/desserts give me indigestion/acid reflux. So I gave up all chocolate, and don't miss it. If anyone has had acid reflux (gerd), they understand.

I baked all kinds of cookies imaginable, stored them in huge tin "lard cans". Baking started the day after Thanksgiving. So, "been there, done that".
