What's your "forum routine"

Hello, It is a good opening question and the responses are fun to read.

Like most of you, I pretty much start my day with C-D and I do have a routine. I first come in with my morning coffee...I wake up first and it is a quiet activity that doesnt wake the dogs or my partner...... I check any Direct Messages and review any rep comments from the previous evening and then go to my home away from home "Our Open House" in the Community Chat forum. That is my favorite and I post a note to say "Good Morning" to my on line friends. (I am usually the first one up there too.) Because that thread is a routine for me.....I feel as if I know everyone and I want to catch up on their posts. (If you like conversation and people you might like it yourself.....feel free to stop in and say hello!)

Second I check to see if there are any new posts in the threads I post in....primarily a few word games....and I can never resist the "Screaming Headline Game" if there has been a new post since the previous evening.

Third I look for the "Question of the Day" thread....and if its up, I post my answer there....after that I usually have to go make the coffee and walk the dogs and get on with my day......but since I am at home.....I stop back throughout the day.....sort of like a coffee break or cigarette break used to punctuate my daily activities.

I really enjoy the social aspect of C-D.....I have met some really nice people who I consider friends.

I usually browse around in about 3 forums at once, two of which arent related to cd, but when Im in here I bounce around to assorted sections. Food, relationships, home, other, community, etc.

Well I read any messages first and check out rep, so I know who to thank and then I go to my new favorite forum other topics. I start at the top and comment on as many as apply to me in some way and go all the way down. Then I hit either relationships or entertainment(movies) and do the same thing.
